"Creature Feature " from 15 August 1970 to 13 April 1973 had no host. Dick Bennick began hosting the series as Dr Paul Bearer 15 September 1973 on WTOG-44, St Petersburg/Tampa, Florida. Bennick created the character on WGHP-8, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for "Shock Theatre" from 30 December 1966 to 27 November 1971. The series on WTOG-44 featured horror, science fiction and fantasy films. Bennick as Dr Paul Bearer referred to the features he showed as "horrible old movies" and ended each episode with, "I'll be lurking for you".
