Special operations section chief Jai Wilcox is killed by a car bomb after a meeting with Annie, who is a prime suspect as it's unclear why she wasn't with him. Director Arthur Campbell doesn't even consult wife Joan before promoting Auggie to Jai's post, expecting him to report directly on possible motives for Jai's killing. Annie is also transferred, to successful maverick Lena Smith's section. Her first mission is to track down KGB-son Simon Fischer, suspect of the killing of three German 'tourists' in Morocco, which requires sexual intimacy.

Afterward, Annie resumes her affair with Simon Fischer.

TRust and loyalties are tested surprisingly in a cigar-making workshop.

He brilliantly liberates her, only to get stuck and ultimately caught together because she stupidly gave her pro-counterfeited fake ID to Simon's sister Zarya Fischer, who was selected as indirect torture victim.

Arthur is puzzled by the fast jail release and rehabilitation of Jai's father Henry Wilcox, who assures him the drone manipulation served a good cause, eliminating a real terrorist erroneously declared dead years ago. After operation Eyal, Annie tries to change Khalid's mind and Henry to enlist her for his revenge.
