In the series premiere, Nick Potter leaves a private firm to join the chaos of the New York District Attorney's Office, which is headed by the new bureau chief, Alexandra Cabot. The office is in the process of prosecuting a drug dealer. Soon, the Assistant D.A.'s are shocked to find out that a member of their team is gunned down and it turns out one of them might be the culprit.
