Atlanta doctor Victor Cannerts spots an unidentified, highly contagious and Ebola-deadly virus which also calls dangerous rage, and duly calls CDC helps while quarantining his hospital. CDC fixer Sabine Lommers tries to coordinate urgently with federal, state, city and police authorities. Atlanta PD zone commissioner Alex 'Lex' Carnahan is put in charge of security, with his girl friend inside, and her ex, his best agent and academy buddy Jake, who got infected why tracking patient zero, a Syrian war refugee, and has the prevent school teacher Jana from leaving with a school bus load of infected kids, including her bright son Quentin. A pandemic and local state of emergency are declared.
