After nineteen years of marriage Marie inexplicably walks out on husband Greg and their three children, teenagers Laura and Liam and little Molly. After a disastrous foray into speed dating Greg rescues caterer Brenna Doyle from her violent husband Garry, leading to her and her young son Davey moving in with his family but her raucousness shocks the older children. Greg also seeks Marie out for answers but none are forthcoming.
