Christian and Tanja announce to the family that they're getting married. They want Michael to be their witness - after all, he introduced Tanja to the practice and is therefore "responsible" for their happiness. Everyone is thrilled, except for Christian's son Paul. Seemingly for no reason, he suddenly feels excluded. Christian tries to figure out what's bothering his son. Because, of course, the wedding will only happen if the whole family agrees... Christian is called to the emergency room: Nicole Höppner survives an electric shock in the bathtub. What initially appears to be an accident turns out, upon closer inspection, to be the result of a serious illness. Christian must act quickly to save the woman's life. Tanja's patient, Sina Drechsler, is seven months pregnant. During a prenatal checkup, Tanja discovers fluid in the unborn child's chest. Without surgery in the womb, the unborn child will not survive - a procedure that carries great risks.

Retired man Horst Hillmann comes to the practice because of a heel spur. Christian quickly notices that the former teacher, who misses his job, is suffering from health problems. The patient suffers from severe unsteadiness when walking. With the help of his young colleague Dr. Carolin Thelen, Christian investigates the cause. Then Hillmann falls again and is hospitalized with a life-threatening injury.

Shortly after their romantic honeymoon in Venice, Christian and Tanja are caught up in everyday life. Luisa reveals to Tanja that Lotte's boyfriend spent the night at the villa. Lotte is furious and won't speak to her sister again. Tanja is suffering from the family feud and desperately tries to reconcile her daughters, but Luisa simply takes off. There are also disagreements between Christian and Michael, because Michael thinks that Christian interferes too much in the upbringing of his daughter Rosalie.

When another poisoning victim comes to the practice the next day, Christian and his team have a hot lead. Both men drank adulterated alcohol and poisoned themselves with methanol. Targeted treatment is now finally possible. At that point, however, the doctors don't yet know that Lotte and Luisa, who want to spend the weekend with friends in a secluded forest cabin, also have adulterated alcohol with them.

No one suspects that Simon and his friends are racing illegally - not even Lotte, who, without knowing it, is putting her life in danger. When Simon increasingly complains of headaches, at Lotte's urging, he goes to the practice for an examination. The medical team diagnoses an epidural hematoma, a bruise that presses on the brain from the inside. Simon's life is in danger. But he's already on his way to a race with Lotte. Tanja and Michael notice that the consumption of sweets in the villa has increased rapidly. Michael then rations the sweets for Rosalie. Tanja isn't quite so strict with Finn. But Finn doesn't eat the chocolate himself, but passes it to Rosalie, who implores him not to reveal anything. A vow that almost leads to disaster - because no one suspects how much the sweets could harm Rosalie.

Christian is dealing with two cases in his practice: one involving a young patient with dangerous lung problems, and the other involving Markus - the husband of receptionist Nora. He is particularly worried about Markus. He is suffering from rapid loss of vision and hearing and is developing a whole list of other non-specific symptoms. Nora is very afraid for her husband, and her colleagues are suffering with her. Together the doctors try to solve the puzzle.

When he visits the group practice for what he considers a minor chest bruise, the examination results in a shocking diagnosis that requires expert supervision from gynecologist Tanja Ewald. Timo von Hatzfeld receives a mysterious package containing a prophecy. Unfortunately, Dr. Carolin Thelen can't contain her curiosity. A major mishap occurs that seems destined to end in disaster.

But when she sees Urs interacting with Ben, it suddenly becomes clear to her that this man will also play a role for Ben in the future-an unbearable thought for Anke.
