Christian's patient, Angelika Pagels, falls while working in her greenhouse. She has been lying in the stuffy, sun-heated greenhouse for several hours when Christian finds her on his way to a home visit. He immediately initiates first aid measures and notifies the emergency services - a last-minute emergency. But even a short hospital stay cannot cure her illness, and her general condition rapidly deteriorates. At the same time, Tanja and Piwi are caring for 29-year-old Carmen Wegner, who has back pain after a sudden birth. Tanja diagnoses a pelvic organ prolapse and prescribes physical therapy. Christian and Tanja have moved in together and are happy. Their joint practice is running smoothly - until they need a new medical technician. Tanja takes over the interviews and hires 23-year-old Jan Dreves. Her colleagues, including Christian, are uncomfortable with this decision, and arguments ensue. Can Tanja ultimately convince them, or will the practice atmosphere suffer in the long run from her going it alone?

Timo is supposed to dispel any remaining doubts with a mammogram. But this time, the young radiologist is a bit too confident and gives the all-clear too quickly. When Christian learns that Piwi and Anke are considering accepting job offers in Switzerland, he reacts very emotionally. Instead of encouraging his son, he offends him with his somewhat overly critical questions. The fact that his children are growing up and now going their own ways isn't easy for Christian. He has to admit that a new phase of his life is beginning for him, too.

The practice team and family stand together in this emergency situation, supporting Tanja and Christian. Only Piwi and Paul overstep the mark and put themselves in danger.
