To earn their Town Crier badges, Wilson and Brewster each have to make an announcement, speaking loudly, clearly and with style. Brewster is too quiet and nobody listens to him. Wilson is loud and clear, but he exaggerates! Having failed their first badge attempt, Wilson and Brewster decide to help each other. Brewster teaches Wilson how to stick to the facts and Wilson gives Brewster pointers on announcing with pizzazz. They both earn their badges on the second try!

Koko and Brewster are trying for their Courier badges. They each have to deliver three packages before five o'clock. But after two deliveries, Koko's badge quest is interrupted when Eddie needs her to take him to an emergency track repair. Koko thinks she hasn't won her badge - until Vee says that, as Koko has 'delivered' him to the track repair, Eddie can count as the third package!

Wilson is trying for his Fire Warden badge and is thrilled to be given his own siren. When the fire alarm goes off, he must sound his siren and make sure everybody leaves the area safely. Wilson gets a little carried away practising and doesn't hear when the real alarm goes off. He is given another chance and this time concentrates and takes his responsibilities very seriously. When the alarm goes off during the night, he is able to evacuate the chuggers from the roundhouses quickly and calmly.

Wilson is flown to a secret location by Action Chugger and has to navigate his way home, using Dr. Ling's new invention - the Chugnav. When a squirrel accidentally knocks the Chugnav upside down and back to front, causing it to malfunction, Wilson gets hopelessly lost. But once he figures out that he should do the opposite of what the Chugnav tells him, he gets back safely and earns his badge!

To earn their Snow Rescue badges, Koko and Wilson have to rescue Zephie, who is pretending to be stranded. They start to bicker about the best way to do it, causing Zephie to tip over. Now they have to do a real rescue! They realise they will need to work as a team and, using Calley's rescue wagon, they get Zephie back on her wheels and earn their badges.

Hoot and Toot have to sort through some recycling, but when Action Chugger promises to save them a seat at his latest movie, they cut corners to get the job done faster.
