Paul and Barry, the Chuckle Brothers, decide that it is time somebody launched a breakfast television show exclusively for kids - and who better than themselves as, aided by magician Simon Lovell and Armchair Theatre's story teller Billy Butler narrating the saga of Mr Crackenthorpe's Bath, they present their own sequence of comedy sketches.

Episode 2

Paul introduces a show on dancing beginning with Barry in a bearskin as a dancing caveman and later as Fred Astaire - though still wearing the bearskin. After a section on ballet the Morris Dancing item is cancelled as Morris could not come and the brothers end up at the disco where Paul's Travolta impression puts Barry at a disadvantage.

Episode 3

Paul is hosting a sports show and promising to show every kind of sport. Racing driver Nigel Mansell is due to come to the studio for an interview but fails to turn up whilst a visit to the Crucible for snooker reveals nothing very much going on and the horse race at Aintree cannot be seen because of mist. The only positive note is the fact that Rotherham Reserves have won their soccer game 1 - 0.

Episode 4

The latest show is about how to make a film. Paul is directing and giving Barry menial tasks like operating the clapper-board,in which he manages to get first his fingers,and then his nose trapped. Due to Paul's direction Barry also falls into a river.Back at the lab they find they have only a blank film as Barry forgot to take the lens cap off the camera but they still end up winning a prize for their 'experimental' film, 'The Wooden Dandelion'.

Most people aim to get fit for the Summer but not Paul and Barry Chuckle - they want to look good for the winter and aim to embark on their own fitness regime with a trip to the gym to indulge in a programme of body-building. However, since they are the notoriously inept Chuckle Brothers then the regime does not exactly go as planned.

Episode 6

Paul is presenting a Halloween special and frightens Barry with the legend of Ghostly Gertie the Phantom Tea Lady before they try to cast a spell but,thanks to Barry,have the wrong ingredients. After visiting Britain's most haunted camp site where they scare each other they return to the studio but flee when they hear the Phantom Tea Lady's trolley approaching.

Episode 7

The Chuckle Brothers are presenting a television magazine programme in which they demonstrate, in a bare studio, how to look after antiques and paintings. Inevitably their methods fail miserably, such as Barry's attempts to restore and clean a copy of the Mona Lisa,which ends up with the canvas being wiped completely clean.

Episode 8

The brothers are going on holiday though,when Paul asks for a map,Barry brings a mop. After a visit to a safari park they plan their foreign trip with Barry supplying potatoes instead of pesetas. They end up in Blackpool but think they are in Paris because of the tower and have trouble communicating with the locals whilst believing the beach to be the Sahara desert.

When Barry announces that he will be making a wardrobe,meaning a suit of clothes, Barry gets the wrong idea and brings on some planks of wood. Nevertheless their efforts to make suits and shirts for their Scottish cousins the McChuckles are a success and they even get a phone call from Kensington Palace,though it is to ask if they can play in goal on Saturday.

This week the Chuckle Brothers demonstrate how to perform magic tricks. A mind-reading display and a disappearing rabbit are all very well but Paul aims to make a double decker bus disappear with Barry on board. He manages to succeed - but only because the bus drives off without his realising it.
