Episode 9
Chefs vs. City is taking southern California by storm. Chris Cosentino and Aaron Sanchez put it all on the line against San Diego chefs Kari Rich and Steve Pickett. Kari and Steve are two of the youngest, hungriest chefs they have ever faced. The war rages from battleship to mountainside as the teams tackle foot-high chicken & waffles, bottle one of the country's best craft beers, and re-create a Thai-inspired dish you must see to believe. And that is all before the claws come out at San Diego's world-renowned zoo, where the palate to please belongs to the "King of the Jungle." It is youth verses experience - culinary style - on Chefs vs. City.
Episode 10
Food Network chefs Aaron Sanchez and Chris Cosentino return to the desert to battle two of the most seasoned chefs they have ever come up against, Tony DiLembo & Thomas Hogan from Palm Springs' hottest hot spot, Tropicale. Kitchen skills are pushed to the max in techniques both old-school and new, as they flambé classic Baked Alaska and craft a one-of-a-kind dish known as "Squid Three Ways" using molecular gastronomy. Plus, all four experienced chefs have their patience tested while packaging product for two nineteen-year-old owners at the town's most successful confection company. The heat is on, when the Food Network's Chefs Vs. City wages war in Palm Springs.

Food Network chefs Chris Cosentino and Aaron Sanchez are touching down in Washington D.C., where Chris began his cooking career. Ready to ruin the homecoming are tough local chefs Terrell Danely and Ryan Gordon. A fist full of food challenges will test their culinary skills as they race to replicate a $400 sugar sculpture, build a tantalizing tower of Mediterranean Shawarma, and get down to earth with cedar plank salmon. But before they cross the finish line, they'll need to literally choke down a Century Egg, a Chinese delicacy you've got to see (and smell) to believe.
