After their fake funeral, hosted by father Victor, the sisters magically assume permanent new appearances, hoping for normal, carefree lives, but the ploy also discontinues Phoebe and Piper's careers and relationships. Paige has neither, but her white lighter half can't be turned off, so she must respond to danger incurred by an overconfident witch, none other than Billie Jenkins. Agent Keyes suspects the sisters aren't dead and pretends to have abandoned their case, in fact leaving agent Murphy to observe the house discreetly. Hell has been decapitated, but demon Paul Hass poses as a real estate agent to attend the funeral, wanting the house as a magical power base, and assembles a group of followers, hoping Victor won't be a match while Wyatt is asleep.

Malice in Wonderland

Over weeks, several teenage students, whose first names start with Al, went missing, only to return in a disastrous mental condition, in fact due to exposure to a demonic version of Alice in Wonderland. The sisters start doubting if their new identities are such a good idea. Demon organizer Haas hopes to trap them, if alive as he suspects, by invading the abandoned magic school. Phoebe enjoys checking out Dex as potential father of her future baby, finding he's a charming artist, interested and Phoebe's column's most devoted fan. Paige fails to find her vocation in the SFPD, but her training officer makes a fine date. Her white lighter nature forces her to meet again with the mystery leather girl, whom she finally identifies as Billie and brings to the house for proper training.

Wyatt's school play Cinderella brings out the competitive nature in Piper when her hand-sewn costume and parenting abilities are criticized by another mother. Things go from bad to worse when it is revealed that this Stepford-wife-like "Oh-so-perfect" mother is in fact possessed by a demoness focused on kidnapping Piper's son Wyatt and using him in a plot with other demons to resurrect the Source of All Evil at Magic School; which the demons have forcibly taken possession of after the (believed and faked) deaths of the three Charmed Ones. Meanwhile, Paige sees Dex with another woman, who turns out to be his ex-girlfriend who is a compulsive liar, and despite Phoebe's objections, interferes by masquerading as the woman and expecting evidence Dex is two-timing Phoebe. Dex apologizes to Phoebe after Paige commits her interfering faux pas and her masquerade crashes, saying he probably shouldn't have stayed in touch with and should have made a more complete break with his old girl earning points for earnestness and honesty. Meanwhile, Billie and Leo sniff out the plot at magic school and research a spell to return Billie to our world for power-of-three reinforcements while Leo stays nearby with Wyatt who has accompanied the possessed mother there. With Wyatts powerful help, the demoness has conjured the source who appears to be fully resurrected and ready to take command again in the Underworld. Billie's timely return with Paige, Phoebe and Piper enables the three to intervene in the demon's festivities. Piper vanquishes both threats by dealing with the demoness-who has linked the two by her conjuration of the source which consequently was not as powerful and troublesome as the original incarnation of source because the magical link to the demoness gave it a new vulnerability.

Ambitious demon Antosis engaged the lower 'Imp master' to send his malicious critters attacking innocent people, and when Billie saves one resolves to set such a trap for her, suspecting the Charmed Ones may be alive. Scolded not to risk the trio's exposure by use of magic, Billie still can't resists a spell to overcome Phoebe and Dex's inhibitions, but it's strong enough to get them wed without even remembering so. Agent Murphy observed Billie using her powers but assures not being hostile. Piper grumpily organizes a singles speed-dating night to boast the club, commandeering Paige as participant, but just when she digs genuine Whit, a magic family council is called.

Sam appeals to his unsympathetic biological daughter Paige to help J.D., who meanwhile is 'minded' by Billie Jenkins, while agent Murphy helps investigating.

Meanwhile an ambitious demon has his own elaborate plot with the virus.

His demon Nana plots to eliminate human partner Pelham, so the Charmed Ones must mobilize.

With the intention of helping his parolee get a loan, Henry, along with Paige, go to a bank but instead the parolee decides to take everyone at the bank hostage. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Piper have their hands full when, during Wyatt's third birthday party, Wyatt uses his projection power to turn three of his toys into real people. Unfortunately the situation at the bank degenerates when Henry is accidentally shot and a possessor demon, wanting to expose the Charmed Ones, possesses the parole and tries to force Paige to orb Henry to a hospital and expose herself. Unexpectedly she develops the Whitelighter healing power and heals Henry's wound before switching places with Billie using her glamouring power. Paige is taken hostage by the demon who takes her to Magic School, but Paige orbs them to the manor attic where Piper and Phoebe dispossesses the parolee and Billie vanquishes the demon.

This time he has a vital clue, the location of the magical garden in China town where their humble guardian Lo Pan will host the exchange. Luckily he smelled a rat and lured Billy and Piper, who help him prevent loosing the key, which must however now be guarded by Piper until the next auspicious time. Henry finally learns about Paige's witchcraft, which he adapts to with difficulty but brave effort.

Two former students of Leo's from Magic School turn up at the manor to inform the Charmed Ones that demons that Leo had imprisoned in the Magic School dungeons have escaped and are seeking revenge. Christy tries to get Billie away from the sisters, and Billie wants Christy to reunite with her parents. Paige goes on her honeymoon, and Coop continues to follow Phoebe. One of the demons is eventually vanquished by Piper and the students sending him to the Astral Plane in a perpetual vanquish, but beforehand, the two demons kill Billie and Christy's parents under orders from Candor, the last remaining member of the Triad. In retaliation, Christy vanquishes him, but he claims that by doing so she passed her final test.

The Torn Identity

Piper is on the hunt for the remaining Noxin demon in order to interrogate him about who he's working for, but Christy just wants to kill him as soon as possible. Paige concentrates on her charge Mikelle, a future white lighter, which darklighter Salek and his cahoot Dominique use as bait.

Dumain gets the hesitant Triad's okay to isolate the Charmed Ones by making them look unwilling to protect any of their magic friends. So he makes sure they get appeals but can't respond, being spell-bound by their private obsessions: a love-life with Coop for Phoebe, a home for Leo with Piper, a ring-conjured meditative isolation for Paige, so demons vanquish the messengers or worse. That allows Christy to win over Billie, who betrayed their secrets, completely and help send the trio to the underworld.

Kill Billie: Vol. 2

Dumaine and the Triad believe they can finally vanquish the Charmed Ones, now stuck in the underworld. Demon Nomed however successfully offers an alliance to overthrow the old demonic generation. Unwilling to accept defeat barring their return, the Triad has Christy and Billie conjure the Hollow, to Dumaine's horror. Coop declares his love but is bluntly told to wait by Phoebe and to but out by Victor. Cued by Leo's ghostly image, Piper decides the Charmed ones must do the same. A terrible battle occurs and wrecks the house, complicated by Dumaine and grandpa Victor cleverly manipulating the boys' superior powers.
Episode 22
Forever Charmed

Despite Leo's return, Piper can't accept her sisters' death and borrows Coop's ring to travel back in time to prevent the fight. She lands when mother Patty was still alive, but takes her advise to cheat at constituting the power of three with a third generation, grandma Penny. Dumain meanwhile gets Billie to do her own time traveling to save Christie and the Triad. After the battle is undone, adult Christopher and Wyatt arrive to demand the charmed ones' help to save their future with even more confusing time travel.
