C.B. Strike
Cormoran Strike is a private detective with a colourful past. He lost a leg while serving in Afghanistan and his father is a famous rockstar. His small agency is barely staying afloat, largely taking on humdrum cheating spouse cases. Then he hires Robin Ellacott, initially as a receptionist, and things change. The cases get more interesting, and dangerous, and, moreover, they make a formidable team.
