With no ID and only an expensive gold watch with him, his car keys help to identify him as Lucas Marceau, 36, a nurse at the Cimes Clinic. The investigators visit his house and find his wife Magalie, drugged unconscious in bed. She is a piano teacher and was apparently in a relationship with one of her students, David Lemoine, 16, a young prodigy who claims to be the murderer.
