Episode 1
Eleven year old Harry Carter lives in Milton Keynes with his parents, mini-bus driver Tony and Liz and sister Ellie. When Harry invents Honc, an app which makes talking to girls easier, the interest is global with brash internet billionaire, Trent Zebriski, offering ten million pounds for it. Liz starts spending the money before it is in the bank and displeases the more cautious Tony by taking Harry out of school for a press launch. However, when the cheque arrives even Tony is won over and the family celebrates with a huge firework party.
Episode 2
The Carters attract unwanted publicity by having a food fight in an Indian restaurant, angering Trent. As damage limitation his man Oliver arranges a sedate At Home interview for a Sunday newspaper. However the night before the interview Liz and Tony go to a spa and Harry, aiming to appear cool, throws a party, which results in the house being trashed. Liz and Tony arrive in time to throw everybody out and get the house in order for a successful interview - but at the expense of Liz's new sofa.
Episode 3
When Harry buys Tony an expensive 4 x 4 Tony decides to take him to work with him to show him the value of money. Unfortunately cocky rival driver Glen challenges Tony to a race, which ends in disaster with Tony then being taught the value of money - to get him off the hook. Meanwhile Liz goes behind Tony's back in selling the house in order to purchase a huge country mansion.
Episode 4
The Carters attend a parents evening where stern teacher Mrs Cheung claims that Harry's work is disappointing. They are interrupted when Trent arrives with his entourage to stay with the family but his appearance at school leads to Harry's suspension. Tony feels usurped in his paternal role by Trent but gets one over on him by taking Harry to the school disco instead of a conference talk and Liz finds out why Mrs Cheung hates her family and is taking revenge through Harry.
Episode 5
Believing that Harry does not go out enough Tony signs them up for the Wildboys Wilderness survival course but soon regrets it when they have to forage for food and is grateful to Harry when the party gets lost and the knowledge he has gained from the computer saves them.. Meanwhile Liz, afraid that Ellie no longer communicates with her, creates an Internet persona as French boy Antoine but has to 'kill him off' in a road accident when Ellie wants to meet him.
Episode 6
Following Tony's bonding exercise with Harry at the wilderness camp and Liz's decision to cut down on extravagance the family is united for the first time since Harry's success. Unfortunately this is about to be disrupted when William Golding, a boy Harry met at computer camp, claims that he was the co-inventor of Harry's invention and his parents, Sue and Peter, turn up threatening legal action unless a settlement is made. Now, more than ever, the Carters must stand together to discredit the claim and remain triumphant.
