JB is late at the crime scene of Cindy, a young woman pushed from a second floor. Candice soon discovers the culprit is one of the neighbours, so the team is required at René Llense stadium, where rugby coach Mathieu Vivian has been beaten up to a coma and found by coworker Aurélie Grimaldi, who declares the victim was single and very private, but seemed worried lately, especially the night before. Investigation begins in the men's rugby teams. Kévin Bercou, ex player, rejected by Vivian, is a suspect candidate. During the search in the victim's apartment, the team discovers a secret that could be the key to the attack.

An oyster farmer finds trapped in his nets the body of Quentin Bigleur, 25, biology student in Montpellier. Pascale reports cause of death a harpoon to the belly. Chrystelle must investigate the local fleet, because the body was moved post mortem. Quentin lived in Sète with Francesca Gherini, a woman in her sixties. Quentin's car makes Candice think that he was living beyond the means of a student, and might be involved in oyster smuggling. The investigation will start with the local oyster farmers.

Candice is introduced to Aline Jego, a Technician of the Identité judiciare (IJ), at the crime scene of Pablo Alves, owner of a graffiti cleaning company, who died of a skull fracture from a fall from a bridge. He was working as an informer for Capitaine Vidal, of the Private Property Department of Sète Police. They were trying to unmask "Le Chat", a graffiti artist who has been worrying the police for two years. The team discovers that Pablo had been also a graffiti artist himself when he was young with his friends Samir and Martin.

The team is not happy with their annual evaluations. Chrystelle and Candice discuss about it in the toilets when they hear Alice Fontanel, 17, cry because police officers ignored her when she tried to report her mother missing for three days. Candice decides to question her father, Vincent, who explains that his wife, Magali, 42, traveled to Deauville, via Paris, with "Espoir chevaux", association she founded to adopt horses about to be slaughtered. Vincent becomes main suspect when the team discovers that Magali never made it to catch the plane to Paris in Montpellier.

In a forest managed by the Office National des Forêts (ONF) a jogger finds a woman's corpse in her underwear. Aline Jego of the IJ declares cause of death strangulation. There are cigarette marks on the chest, as well as scars on the back and unusually calloused knees. Candice discovers that she was Sister Madeleine, 40, disappeared from a Carmelite convent near the crime scene. Antoine and JB investigate Fabrice Garel, of the ONF, whose office is also nearby, because they believe, unlike Candice, that the death of the nun was a sexual crime.

In the middle of the rehearsals of "Les Fourberies de Scapin", by Moliere, that an amateur company is performing at Sète Theatre, Amira, the actress who plays the role of Zerbinette, collapses, murdered. Candice is convinced that the culprit is a member of the company; in particular she suspects Simon Ferrer, the director, who did not hesitate to change the cast and give the lead role to a newcomer, perhaps because they were having an affair. The autopsy, though, reveals that Amira was still a virgin. The team must solve the case while Antoine is still in the hospital, in a coma.
