Meeting on mission in Canada, Michael rejoins the CIA under supervisor Raines, who pairs him up with special agent Max. Arresting and expertly questioning a hacker hands them a unique lead to Kessler, the burn mastermind. They head to his Venezuelan compound HQ near Caracas, on Mike's insistence joined by Sam and Fiona, who complain to be left out of the loop but save the day when the elaborate plan goes wrong, despite Mike's expert impersonation of a Russian spy. they get away, but loose Kessler for good.

Max gives fully reinstate Michael his first regular CIA mission, preventing brilliant but flirtatious British scientist Carson Huxley from being blackmailed. However he must pass on that task to vamp Fiona as the old team demands him taking the lead in the case of a group of girls kidnapped near Kyato by the Yakuza for white slavery in Miami. The key is capturing Japansese mobster Takeda, but he's likely to die rather then betray his gang. The only way around is mother Weston playing a 'bullied', equally frightened nurse to win Takeda's confidence, actually only feasible by staging an escape.

Michael's kid brother Nate is back in Miami, but not just to show off his baby boy. He needs the team to save a rehab mate whose yoghurt bar is cracking under extortion from loan shark Wallace's ambitious lieutenant Carter. Michael works his way in as slick fixer and sets up Carter as undercover cop so Wallace will eliminate him. But instead of the contraband staked by Fiona, Wallace finds proof it's a real FBI agent, so the team must save him.

No Good Deed

CIA supervisor Max is pleased to work with fast-improvising Mike on guarding imprudent Swedish industrialist Gunther Ehren and stealing back the top-notch designs on his tablet computer from the French, but after they succeed Max is shot and Mike set up as his murderer. Dodgy cahoot Barry meanwhile hired the team to help his dead-honest brother, teacher Paul, whose legitimate fund is being hacked by Eve to be robbed by Dean Myers. Mike poses as an easy prey, but underestimates Eve's ruthlessness dangerously.

Ethan, a young soldier back from Afghanistan, needs Michael's help finding the dangerous con man who put his sister in the hospital. In order to take him down, Michael has to teach Ethan some tricks of the spy trade and as they work together, Michael begins to see a younger version of himself in Ethan. Michael has problems of his own, however, trying to find the person who killed Max and framed him for it. Michael is introduced to AGENT PEARCE (Lauren Stamile), who's been sent by the CIA to investigate Max's murder and serve as Michael's new agency contact. Michael must do what he can to aid the CIA's investigation while keeping the evidence from leading to his own doorstep.

Michael stalls with CIA agent Pearce as the team must, before she's shown the at first sight incriminating security videos, Westen's near-dead-ringer, obviously part of an elaborate setup. Pearce herself offers an alternative priority: saving an informant who infiltrated a Serbian gang by finding a way to turn the police on them red-handed before her superiors order arrests which are bound to expose her source. To this end, Michael instructs Sam's alter-ego to deviously approach ruthless drug baron Carmelo Dante by car-crash to ultimately make the notoriously violent drug-fiend believe the Serbians stole from him, which the team must itself.

Meanwhile Tommy O'Lear's mother Denise hires the team to rescue her preteen son Tommy, whose father, grief-struck after his brother's death in Afghanistan, took the asthmatic kid along when joining brute Zechariah's lunatic anti-government militia. The team must make John see sense and extract them from a heavily guarded compound.

The Michael impersonation was a professional job, his tracks covered too well for Weston's team to find. Fiona asks help from former IRA ex Armand, who Always demands a return 'favor', in this case stealing a car armored to measure from the factory, which Sam helps her pull off. The CIA orders Michael and Pearce to find a third man -Jesse- to help 'discretely' check on whatever shady middleman Steve Cahill is having a secret meeting about on the Bahamas, as turns out an oil cartel's plot to destabilize a South American regime so they can take over its petroleum. It gets the team locked in when Miles Vanderwaal arrives with his mercenary company, so he must pose as cartel operation chief Jackson's 'internal security'.

Jesse demands Fiona's help when his form is hired to protect innovative pharmaceutical firm CEO James Forte against a stalker, who turns out to be James's set-up ex-South American-jailed former partner Dan Tesmond, whose wife Sadie remarried Foret, so they switch sides.

Michael and his mother meanwhile help Jesse with a supposedly routine business security job, but find themselves trapped in a massive kidnapping by the ruthless gang Michael was 'hired' by as menial henchman but has to keep from killing hostages by taking charge.

Guarding Tavian Korzha, the master criminal who arranged Max's murder and framed Michael for it, meanwhile is left to Sam and Jesse.

Mike finds himself commandeered at gunpoint by most vindictive Larry Sizemore, to break in and switch documents at the British consulate. The hostage wife is killed by a bomb senselessly and Fiona's explosives to dispose of Larry exact a grim toll, but the worst surprises are still to come.

Breaking Point

Michael promises vindictive Blake revenge by trapping Dion into an irresistible arms deal. It nearly goes wrong as Fiona's contact reneges last minute on the promise to supply, so the team must 'borrow' army grade weapons. Anson Fullerton blackmails Mike to share his recently restored CIA security status by Friday, so Sam must first find out where he lives by scamming students.

Madeleine pigheadedly refuses to heed Michael's warning that her present boyfriend Benny is used, knowingly or not, by Anson Fullerton.

Jesse and Fi succeed by personally slick blackmailing banker George Anders. Michael contends with maternal fury over her blown-up lover and especially again being kept in the dark. Sam won't turn down a plea for help from Colombian friend Beatriz, who is sniper-targeted since she published an article on Russian oil interests. Mike helps Sam identify the sniper as Oscar Markov and works on his FSB (Russian secret service) handler Ivan Vaskov while Sam babysits Beatriz.

Jesse goes undercover to be recruited in Miami as ex-spy security consultant. Meanwhile the team secretly acts on Vaughn's warning that Anson, who admitted having murdered father Weston, is rebuilding the mighty network that burnt Mike. However the task is so hard and Anson so well-prepared that the team's disagreements worsen until Fiona decides to give herself up to the FBI.
