She goes on an audition for the musical Chicago & after an unexpected reaction accepts a marriage proposal from longtime admirer Hubble. Acting on impulse they get married & Michelle relocated to a small dreary town where she will share a house with her new husband & mother in law. Unbeknownst to Michelle, her mother in law Fanny owns a dance studio on the property. With things starting to look up for Michelle, tragedy strikes & her world turns upside down... again. Will she make it through?

The girls are exhausted from the extra rehearsals & decide to go see a basketball game to watch Sasha cheer. Boo realizes she has a crush on Charlie & wants to tell him but, it might be too late. With the opening of a new grocery store canceled, Michelle decides it's time to protest.

Fanny realizes how important Michelle is to the studio & wants her back. With the studio closed, Michelle gone & Sasha at the Joffrey Ballet summer program, the rest of the girls are keeping busy. Boo is running her household since her mother is pregnant & on bed rest, Ginny is helping her Mom with her real estate business & Melanie is spending time with her grandfather
