Episode 1
Thu, Aug 16, 201224 mins
The gangland truce in Brüteville City between Tannhauser and Racken is short lived as Tannhauser wants Gunter to hit a Jewish run jewelry store solely because they are paying Racken protection money as their unofficial security. In the process, Tannhauser wants Gunter to kill Martine as he knows she is being unfaithful to him, unaware that she is being unfaithful with Gunter, and that she is pregnant. The robbery does not go according to plan, with Gunter shot in the face, and captured by the police. Following Gunter's reconstructive surgery and recuperation, Police Commissioner Eva Braden believes she is able to convince Gunter to work for them in nabbing Tannhauser, as she shows him that it was not the police but Martine who shot him. If he does work for the police, he will be partnered with Lt. Karl Hagerman, whose previous partner Gunter killed in the robbery, and whose face was transplanted onto Gunter's destroyed one. But Gunter may still prove to be unwilling to work for the enemy. Conversely, both Tannhauser and Racken's men may want to kill Gunter, unaware that it is him, solely because he is a police detective.

Thu, Aug 16, 201223 mins
In their first case as partners, Karl and Gunter investigate what looks to be the suicide of a priest, whose dead body was discovered in the rectory by the rectory housekeeper, a deaf mute. In trying to describe what she saw, she points to a photograph of an angel of death. It begins to seem less like suicide when a second priest seemingly killed himself the same way, by a single bullet to the head. While the Commissioner knows more about the why of the deaths, the identity of who committed them can be found in the Bible. Meanwhile, Gunter gets a little more accustomed to his life as Karl's truly deceased partner. And Martine is convinced that Gunter is still alive despite she being the one who shot him in the face.

Gunter specifically asks to work on the case of Klaus, a boy who shot dead his young adult sitters while his single mother went out for her first date in years. Klaus, whose mother says he is a good boy, seems like he is undergoing some sort of drug induced psychosis. His urine test does show designer drugs in his system. With those sorts of drugs, it can only be traced back to one of either two people. Still, Gunter, who can only see what he knows, believes otherwise. Meanwhile, Tannhauser has to figure out to to correct a mistake, and use his "improving" chess skills in getting the upper hand over Racken. And Martine needs to talk to Gunter about the baby.

Racken's men temporarily abduct Gunter in an effort to locate Tannhauser. After Gunter's release, Braden and Kurt know he met with Racken and believe he may be trying to double cross them. Gunter has to show Braden in some way that he is loyal to her... as loyal as he can be. The Commissioner dangles a carrot for Gunter he may not be able to refuse. Meanwhile, Tannhauser grows increasingly suspicious of Martine. Martine tries to ditch the guard Tannhauser has placed on her, while she pursues her own goals, which becomes even more difficult with Racken and Gunter's meeting.

Gunter and Hagerman investigate the murder of a man in a hotel room, he decapitated and his head missing. They know that he was killed by someone posing as a prostitute. By identification found in the room, they discover he is Paulo Sabatini, one of Racken's associates. They figure that Tannhauser had him killed, an assumption that Racken also makes, which escalates the war between the two gang bosses. The question is did Tannhauser contract Sabatini's killing or was it someone else who had another motive? Gunter believes he has the answer of if it was Tannhauser by a package that the Commissioner receives. Meanwhile, Gunter believes he is taking on the traits of the man whose face he now possesses. Both Hagerman and the Commissioner can see the same thing in him.
Episode 6
Fri, Aug 17, 201223 mins
The escalating war between Tannhauser and Racken is having a negative impact on the police. As such, the Commissioner increases the pressure on Gunter to find Tannhauser's hideaway, eliminating Tannhauser which she believes will end the war. Gunter is determined to find Tannhauser if only so that he can get his face and thus his old life back. But a somewhat competing priority is that Martine is about to give birth. She plays the three men who could be the father for her own end goal, which includes telling the real father that the baby is indeed his.
