The opening of a new antiques emporium, Mumford and Sons, in Newby-on-Wye threatens the future of Rupert Bull Antiques especially as the staff are both helpful and knowledgeable. Rupert challenges his new rival to a duel by chess.

A Collection of Mounted Deer Heads (1977-2005)

Rupert inherits a collection of moldy deer heads from a rich Russian widow. Faye is sent out into the town to drum up some business, while Beverley has a word with the increasingly put-upon Toby about workers rights.
