Episode 1
Helicopter pilot Ed has been hired by government agency 'The Hive' to deliver a top secret satellite device, powerful enough to control half the world's satellite communications. However, Ed is attacked mid-flight by armed men in a black helicopter, who attempt to take the device by force. Meanwhile, Hive agent Nick Beckett has information that someone in the agency is working against them. He contacts electronics expert Ros Henderson for help, but before they can meet, Beckett is framed for stealing classified tapes. Fleeing from the Hive, Beckett must work together with Ros and Ed to clear his name and expose the real criminals within the agency.
Episode 2
Ed, Ros and Beckett (now working as freelance surveillance team 'Gizmos') are hired by the Bureau of Weapons to obtain evidence against Irene Campbell, director of a company which manufactures miniaturised assassination devices. Unfortunately, Irene has just manipulated Beckett into destroying all traces of the evidence. When several high profile people are assassinated, the Gizmos team sets out on a personal mission to bring Irene down. However, Irene Campbell is prepared to do anything to get rid of the team - even if that means resorting to murder.
Episode 3
The Gizmos team is called in when a passenger jet is temporarily hijacked by remote control, and a ransom demand is sent to an airport by someone calling themselves 'Icarus'. Whilst Beckett clashes with the airport's bureaucratic head of security, Ros investigates the state-of-the-art navigation system on board the empty jet. But then the doors lock, and the jet takes off with Ros still trapped aboard. Ed and Beckett must race against the clock to discover the identity of 'Icarus' before the jet runs out of fuel.

Ed, Ros and Beckett are hired by a large city bank to investigate Bryan Brody, a former employee who has developed an interest in stolen ship components. Disguised as professional sailors, Beckett and Ed convince Brody to let them in on his plans, whilst Ros tracks Brody's murderous wife, Juliet. Ros uncovers a link between the bank and a diamond merchant, and Ed and Beckett discover that Bryan is planning to rob the bank - using a Russian submarine. Can they stop Bryan Brody's plan before it is too late?
Episode 5
When prominent Italian politicians Anna Fabrizi and Alberto Corelli arrive in London for a conference on anti-corruption, an assassin called Starkey prepares to strike. William Swift, Anna's secret fiancée, hires Gizmos to provide security, much to the irritation of SSD who have been assigned to protect the politicians. The Gizmos team launch a plan to trap the killer, but it goes horribly wrong. In the ensuing confusion, the assassin's employers mistake Ed for Starkey and kidnap him at gunpoint, convinced he has failed his mission. Ed is offered a last chance - kill Anna Fabrizi immediately, or die.
Episode 6
When two mysterious young women attempt to steal a prototype sports car, Gizmos are hired by vehicle manufacturer Tronix to provide security for the launch. Ed, Ros and Beckett find the women a formidable challenge, but the real threat comes from the sinister Major Cardenas, who is overseeing Tronix's other project - a prototype nuclear-powered stealth tank. The stakes change when, instead of the car, the tank is stolen. A furious Major Cardenas locks Ed in a laser cage, and if Beckett and Ros don't recover the tank in time, the unshielded nuclear core on board will explode.

New Earth Foods is days away from launching 'Phodex', a revolutionary type of food with the potential to end world famine. When a ruthless businessman called Zander attempts to steal samples, Gizmos are called in to investigate - but they start to suspect that New Earth Foods is hiding something. When Zander discovers that Phodex holds a deadly secret, his agenda switches from industrial espionage to blackmail. Ed and Beckett must find a way to stop Zander, or thousands will die - including Ros.

When Millenium Metals discovers that their new R6 metal becomes dangerously volatile if exposed to certain sound frequencies, it becomes a target for Da Silva - a mercenary who specializes in explosives. The Gizmos team are called in to protect the R6, but discover that not only is Da Silva more than a match for them, he is not the only one who wants to seize control of the R6.
Episode 9
When several athletes collapse into comas at a sports institution, Gizmos are hired to find out why. The athletes are part of a trial program run by Dr.Hunter to develop a legal performance enhancing drug called Tri-Meserone, but the institute's director suspects that Hunter may be risking the athlete's lives in order to get results. However, the team discovers that the drug's anonymous sponsor is actually a mercenary called Colonel Easterhaus, who has more sinister plans for its use. When Easterhaus realises he has been discovered, he sends his second in command to kill Ed and Beckett, and takes Ros hostage - with the intention of using her as the new test subject for Tri-Meserone.
Episode 10
After several company executives either disappear or meet with fatal accidents, Ed is concerned that his old friend Claire may be next on the list. Then the Gizmos team discover that someone is buying up failing companies and ordering weapons components, and they realise that a much larger plan is nearing completion. The trail leads to data backup company Computer Recall, run by the charming Patrick Marcel, and his monstrous, bazooka-wielding chauffeur. But is Patrick Marcel really the man behind the criminal master-plan? Whilst Ed attempts to rescue Claire's kidnapped daughter, Beckett is abducted, and Ros attempts to prevent a missile launch...
