This Showtime original comedy series centered around the Waters family in Philadelphia. Joe was a former professional football player who decided to open a bar/restaurant The Point After, his older brother Lou worked as construction foreman, and youngest brother Cliff was coming out as gay, a reason he left the altar on his own wedding day. Episodes consisted of Joe and Lou trying to cope with Cliff's decision and the various trials and tribulations of family life. Secondary characters included Joe's teenage daughter, Penny, waitress Kelly, and Donald Maltby, a openly gay magazine editor who struck up a relationship with Cliff in the first episode.
