A former classmate of Joe's is now an up-and coming music star. Matt gets stuck with the nerdy girl as his chemistry lab partner. Andy imagines that Claire is a Russian spy.

Matthew and Andrew are going camping as pioneers so Andy can earn an achievement badge and Joey is not excited about going because there are too many rules of camping as a pioneer and Loyd goes as the pioneer camp master. Unfortunately a storm is happening at the location so they decide to camp indoors in the garage they work in and marking certain parts of the garage to make sure they are completely isolated from civilized luxuries. Claire and Lou decide to stay in to watch tear jerking romance films.

After Matt is flunked on his driving test by the same teacher who flunked the boys' father, Claire, Lloyd, and Lou, the gang decides to take revenge.
