In 2011, Charles Russell perishes in a hovercraft accident and finds himself in the high spiritual palace of Saint Peter. Since Charles is dead good for Hell and dead bad for Heaven, he is given the chance to return to the present to assist his younger self, Chazz, in making better decisions at critical junctures in his life in order to redeem himself. In response, Saint Peter, who grades Charles' progress in his attempt to grow into a better man the second time around, watches over him like a hawk.
