Exes X (not his real name) and Andrew still live together, they justifying doing so in it making financial sense. The complication becomes when either brings someone else home for whatever reason. They are also both going through a mid-life crisis. Andrew is in a mid-level office job he hates in an field, accounts payable, he has become a specialist in but can never define himself by, he not seeing a way out of this soul crushing existence at this stage of his life. Following their break-up, X has decided to return to a former profession as an escort which he believes will be like putting on a comfortable pair of old gloves and that his experience will place him in a position to teach the younger escorts a thing or two, but he finds that things have changed where the younger escorts are out-hustling him in knowing how the business now works. In the process, X comes under the wing of younger escort Chayse who becomes his unofficial pimp. As Chayse sets him up on one blind date after another, X will learn more about not only the business in this day and age, but about himself, much in the latter in relation to what happened between him and Andrew.
