Born to Kill? Season 7 Episodes

6 Episodes 2015 - 2016

Episode 1

Allan Legere: Monster of the Miramichi

44 mins

Rapist, arsonist, serial killer and prison escapee Allan Joseph Legere returns to the area of his birth to inflict a reign of terror upon the peaceable residents of the Miramichi River Valley of New Brunswick, Canadian, in 1989. In a criminal career that involved murder from June 21, 1986, through November 24, 1989, his disadvantaged youth with a home environment that destabilized his psychosexual development played parts in fashioning an overpowering inferiority complex that left him mercurial in temperament and unpredictably violent, along with an insatiable desire to demonstrate brute strength, power and cunning.

Episode 2

Bill Suff, 'The Riverside Killer'

44 mins

Known as the Riverside Prostitute Killer and the Lake Elsinore Killer, outwardly mild-mannered warehouse clerk William Lester Suff (a.k.a. Bill Lee Suff) raped, tortured, stabbed, strangled, and sometimes mutilated at least twelve prostitutes (possibly twenty-two) over a span from 1974 to 1992 - often horrifically posing the bodies afterward. Domineering in private life, his actions would force a close relation to build between Det. Christine Keers and the victim pool before his long-overdue arrest.

Episode 3

Charles Albright: The Eyeball Killer

43 mins

Charles Frederick Albright, a.k.a. The Eyeball Killer, expanded his criminal history of petty thefts, forged checks and degree falsification to statutory rape in 1981 to murdering prostitutes from December 13, 1990, through March 18, 1991, in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, with a macabre and unprecedented M.O. of deftly removing his victims' eyeballs. Seen as gregarious and charismatic - even artistic at times - few knew of his elusive and calculating side, and none of his obsession with eyes.

Episode 4

Peter Moore: The Man in Black

45 mins

Outwardly laid back and polite, film enthusiast Peter Howard Moore committed thirty-nine gay sex attacks on men in North Wales and the Merseyside area over a twenty-year period. His interest in sadism would escalate into the killings of four men from September through December of 1995. Repeatedly stabbed before being allowed to die, the men would unfortunately come to represent the killer's late father, whose degrees of homophobia, violence and alcoholic way of life were never fully known.

Episode 5

Robert Reldan, 'The Charmer'

45 mins

Robert Ronald Reldan - charismatic, privileged, handsome, tall, personable, powerfully-built and clean-spoken - made peaceable Bergen County, New Jersey, his personal hunting ground from August 1974 through November 1975. Randomly targeting young women for strangulation, he would be caught but could masterfully manipulate the parole board for early release and more brutal killings.

Episode 6

Trevor Hardy: The Beast of Manchester

45 mins

Former juvenile delinquent and unpredictable neighborhood terror Trevor Joseph Hardy grew to be a man of no redeeming qualities. His short career of murderous crimes (three teenage girls between 31 December 1974 to 8 March 1976) struck Manchester police by his repeated dismemberment of one victim and the removal of a nipple each from his other two - by his teeth. Sisters of one victim recall the lovely qualities of their lost sib while the brother of the perpetrator - himself a survivor - gives personal accounts of the frightening and unconscionable black sheep of his family.
