Episode 1
Simon Bodger (Andy Cunningham)tells his pal Badger to keep out of sight inside his bag as he goes to apply for the job of Chef at local restaurant Troff's Nosherama. However, the restaurant's arrogant owner Hector Troff(Roger Walker) seems to have already made up his mind to give the job to the only other applicant, Marcel (Stephen Lewis), because he is French and can cook fancy food to attract 'posh persons'. Badger suggests that Simon should challenge Marcel to a cookery contest with the winner getting the job. Mr Troff is not interested, until waitress Mavis (Joanne Campbell) tells him that the Letsby Avenue Football Club players have arrived for their football themed party. Two football cakes are required but Badger comes up with a better idea - a football shaped cake made of mashed potato.

Simon Bodger is now firmly in place as the new chef at Troff's Nosherama. But when he begins to bake a cake he accidentally bakes Badger inside it.

Mr Troff (Roger Walker) receives a phone call from Wally, the owner of another restaurant, to say that he has just had a visit from the Health Inspector (Maggie Henderson) and that Troff's Nosherama is next on her list. When she arrives the Inspector is shocked to find the state that the kitchen is in and she can smell an animal in the kitchen but can't identify what species it is. First Troff manages to insult her, then he tries to bribe her. The furious Inspector issues a 24 hour notice to get the place cleaned up or she will close the restaurant down. Mr Troff is so depressed by the news that he goes off to the sweetshop - with Mavis and Simon's wages. Simon (Andy Cunningham)goes after Troff to stop him. The Health Inspector unexpectedly returns for her clipboard and sees Mavis (Joanne Campbell) talking to Badger. Horrified she immediately issues a closure order on the Nosherama so it is up to Badger and Mavis to convince her that she is seeing things.
Episode 4
Mr Troff (Roger Walker) has designed a new 'Welcome' sign for the Nosherama, but it is lacking any artwork. Chef, Simon Bodger (Andy Cunningham), suggests it should feature a veggie burger - but is quick to point out that he cannot paint. When Troff asks singer-waitress Mavis (Joanne Campbell) if she can paint the sign, Badger replies that he can before Mavis can say that she has never painted anything. Thinking it is Mavis who has answered Troff sets her to work. Badger has a practice attempt on a piece of paper with a felt tip pen and draws a comical caricature of Troff. When the restaurant owner sees it, he gets a better idea for the sign. Rather than a veggie burger he now wants a portrait of himself to welcome customers. Now Simon and Mavis must come up with a way in which Badger can paint Mr Troff's portrait without him seeing Badger.
