When discovered he is forced to team up with a daring woman to race across America against a group of pairs for a large prize money, as well as their lives. With the resources running low the cars are made to run on blood. Meanwhile his partner is captured by a police woman connected to the race.

On the way they get a flat outside Steel City, and the only way to not finish last is to take a short cut through Steel City, it is the Detroit of this universe. Only problem is that most residents are now flesh eating gas guzzling mutants. Once they stop, they get trapped in Steel City, only to find out it may be their last stop no matter what is to happen as the Camaro is impounded by humans. That is the least of their problems as the mutants known as "glimmers" are now surrounding them after nightfall ! Will Grace and Barbie(Graces name for Arther) get the Camaro back and criss the finish line in time? Or be another meal for the glimmers?

An unknown couple, Richard & Diane show up at the Meville Race Starting Line and proceed to infect everyone at the starting line of Night 5 and turning them into the undead. Anthony's partner Christopher is still at one of Heart's headquarters being lured into working for Heart Enterprises, who control everything in the world.Will Grace & Barbie(Anthony) secumb to the Dionysus Virus and become the walking dead? Will they survive Night 5? Will Christopher start working for Heart now that he owes $20 million for his new eye? Are Richard & Diane working for Heart? Are they looking for Slink to kill him? Is there really a cure for The Dionysus Virus?

Booby Traps

The race is back under way from Meadeville after everyone was infected by the Dionysus Virus the night before. Grace finds the cure by none other then Slink. Now helped out by Slink, Grace and Barbie learn where Karna (Grace's sister) is located. Slink warns them that "the rules still apply, if you come in last you die". Christopher searches "The Hall of Secrets", Heart's secret record room, for information. While there he runs into Slink and is told his new eye is watching everything he does. Will Grace and Barbie (Grace's pet name for Anthony) keep running into Booby Traps? Will they survive the beautiful women from the motorcycle gang? Will they get back on the road and try not to hit the brakes, as they find out the motor shuts down for 10 minutes when they use the brakes?

Will Slink succeed in his plan? Will Grace and Barbie destroy Heart Enterprise? Is Christopher in love with the Heart AI ? Will the camaro be repaired in time for Arthur & Grace to finish the next leg of the race?

Meanwhile Grace is bargaining with the Chinese restaurant owner as strange becomes more bizarre. Will Arthur find the door back to reality? Will Grace lose her life giving blood to Arthur? Will the Dragon Lady charge Grace & Arthur for the food order or their lives?
