Aek, a University student from northern Thailand, works as a delivery driver. One evening, he takes a job picking up food from Im-Aue Eatery. After suffering a protracted wait for the order, the Owner Chef Aue cooks Aek an apology green curry. When Aek correctly identifies galangal in his recipe by its scent alone, Aue becomes convinced Aek would be of great value to him in his kitchen.
