Episode 1
The Road to Hell

War is brewing in Lincoln County between rival businessmen Murphy and Tunstall. After seeing the Irishman's brutal ways, Billy joins Tunstall in his battle to stop Murphy and the corrupt organization, the House. Even if it means being enemies with his best friend, Jesse. Attorney Mr. Catron sends his son-in-law, Mr. Waltz to gather information on Billy.

As Tunstall gets hospitalized with smallpox, he is visited by Mr. Waltz, who gives him an ultimatum; end his businesses in Lincoln County or be killed. When Jesse and his 7 Rivers Gang steal Deputy Brewer's horses, Billy and the sheriff track them down and arrest them. Thinking he can show Murphy a gesture of goodwill, Tunstall has his men spring them from jail. The plan backfires and the war ensues.

The Agony

Jesse Evans lies to the sheriff and claims killing Tunstall was in self-defense, Tunstall resisted and Jesse didn't fire the first shot. Waltz visits Riley to tell him to end the newly begun range war as soon as possible, mortgage his properties to him and repay Mr. Catron $25,000 in three-month's time in order to retain his property ownership. There is a graveside burial ceremony for Mr. Tunstall. There, Billy the Kid takes a personal vow to revenge all the murderers of Tunstall. All of Tunstall's supporters vow to follow Billy the Kid in his quest for revenge. When Billy tells his girlfriend Dulcinea about his vow, she throws him out of her house and they break up. He coerces Jesse's gang member to give him the names of the murderers. He gets three names excluding the actual murderer Jesse. Tunstall's attorney informs him the entire legal system is corrupt and no true justice can be expected. An attempt to reclaim Tunstall's stolen horses ends with a shootout on the prairie. The two men begin to surrender but are shot dead by Billy.

The Day of the Dead
