The summer is so hot that even the well on the Martin's farm has dried out. Bibi Blocksberg, vacationing with her best friend Tina Martin, wants to convince Count Falko von Falkenstein to pay for the drilling of a new well. Tina's boyfriend Alex von Falkenstein, who is doing an internship at Radio Flamingo in Rotenbrunn, doesn't think that's a good idea. His father is in a terrible mood because of the heat. Indeed, Bibi and Tina's plan fails at first - until a mysterious young Spanish boy named Chico de la Mancha appears and knows how to convince Count Falko with a lot of charm.

Bibi and Tina take a short trip to the lake. The fact that Chico not only starts working at the Martin's farm, but also comes along with them to the lake, does not suit Bibi well. She thinks Chico is a show-off and is hiding something from them. Many people gather around at the lake. Alex is doing a field piece for the radio about "mermaiding" and interviews an attractive girl named Danny. Freddy and his friends Henk and Klops want to cool off as well, but they cause some trouble and push Chico into the water. He seems to drown, because he can't swim. Bibi saves him with a brave jump into the water. Excitement! Bibi and Tina can't even go for a swim themselves, because they have to go back to the Martin's farm. Chico stays with Alex and rides back to the castle later that night. That was his goal all along, because he thinks Count Falko is his father, but he does not reveal his secret.

Finally, some rain! But today of all days, the social media influencers Fritzi and Mitzi spend their vacation at the Martin's farm. Bibi and Tina have to think quick to get a good review for the Martin's farm. On top of that, the young, mysterious entrepreneur Kim Win Win arrives at the Martin's farm to buy land, and Holger falls head over heels in love with her. Fritzi and Mitzi create some sensationalism by posting videos of Bibi doing witchcraft and kids suddenly storm onto the Martin's farm. But in the end the girls understand that posting without consent is not allowed. They join Bibi and Tina as they go to visit Alex, who is desperately looking for a new song. Together they perform a song at the station, which creates a lot of hype!

Bibi, Tina and Alex are furious when Count Falko declares open season on the boars, who have repeatedly destroyed parts of the corn field of a farmer. Chico on the other hand is on Count Falko's side and wants to join him! Alex casts the news angrily at the radio station, which upsets Count Falko, while Bibi and Tina ride to the corn field. Bibi becomes a boar through her witchcraft, to convince the sounder to look for food somewhere else. This turns out to be more dangerous than expected, as the hunt commences and Bibi still is in the dense corn field. Finally, Alex arrives and tries to stop the hunt. Thankfully, Bibi has an idea, which succeeds with Chico and Alex's help. Chico is very impressed by Bibi's talents!

A horseback riding accident makes Tina suffer from amnesia and fall for Chico! She does not care for Bibi and Alex any longer. Bibi cannot stand that! Plus, she likes Chico more that she cares to admit. But no matter what Bibi, Alex and Chico do, nothing seems to bring back Tina's memory. With Freddy's help, Bibi, Alex and Chico create a sneaky plan, which plays out very differently than expected. Tina trips over a broom, Freddy get smacked in the head, Alex gets kissed - and Tina is back to normal. But who is the woman who calls Chico so excitedly - his girlfriend?

At the same time the horse Lotti expects her foal, which is why Dr. Eichhorn has to come over via witchcraft. It's perfect chaos. When the foal is born, Count Falko realizes the wonder of life and is happy about his new son.

They have to stop Count Falko's speech at all costs! When Elena tells Chico the true story about his father, he is deeply disappointed and disappears. Bibi, Tina and Alex follow him to the castle. Bibi finds him and assures him that friends are family as well - and maybe a little more... Elena and Chico reconcile.

In the end that even convinces Holger, who is in love with her, and everyone pulls back from Kim Win Win and her plans of expansion. Now, finally the party can get started!
