GDR, 1989: Margot, Lotte and Silvia are three siblings that they cannot be more different. As a high-ranking employee of "commercial coordination", Margot is responsible for setting the state financially stabilized. Lotte, on the other hand, is beginning to engage in the rebelling environmental movement. The youngest sister Silvia disappeared from the lives of the other two a long time ago, until she reappears on the other side of the wall. 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the mini-series takes a critical look at the turning point and its consequences.
