April escapes alive, but Sofia is nowhere to be found. Esther wants to find Daniel, but Valerie stonewalls her, so she enlists Frost to track down Daniel while Torres and Kirsch follow their own lead in Vienna. There, they discover an arms dealer who sold an arsenal of weapons to Vassily Krik, a high-ranking Russian oligarch, who may be holding Daniel Miller alive.

Frost introduces Torres to Hector, whose new identity as a roofer to oligarchs provides a way to infiltrate the Russian elite. Frost investigates one the soldiers formerly under Krik's command to gain kompromat from his war days.

Their mission is upended when Hector falls out of favor with Krik and finds himself human prey in their evening hunt, along with one other prisoner: Daniel.

Their standoff ends in a dramatic fashion, answering whose star is etched at Langley.

The Estonian communications network is hijacked, but Sophia can only use her master password by returning to her country.
