Season 2 follows Danielle's 8 week BBQ Crawl as she continues the journey around the American South's BBQ competition circuit, kicking off in Nashville Tennessee and ending up in Kansas City Missouri. Season 1 followed Danielle's 6 week BBQ Crawl through 12 US States, competing at 5 KCBS BBQ Competitions on the weekends and visiting 22 BBQ Joints in between. The crawl started at J Mueller BBQ in Austin, Texas and finished in Kansas City at the World Series of Barbecue, the American Royal BBQ Competition. For most of the competitions and BBQ Joints crawl she is joined by various friends, while the rest of her competitive BBQ team joins her in Kansas City for the Royal.
