Episode 1
Thu, Nov 21, 202433 mins
Ava and Nathan are struggling with all aspects of their lives. Nathan has had to resort to teaching the odd private tennis lesson since he was let go at the tennis club. It's been three months since Matt murdered Ruby, and that Simon has been in prison for the murder. It's been three months since they last saw Matt in paying him to leave their lives. But pervading everything is that they have been at odds with each other in the feeding of three month old Jack and in the process Ava has not gotten any sleep, she hallucinating about seeing murder victims, such as Ruby, alive but bloodied. The issue is that she isn't producing enough milk, and while Nathan wants her to feed him a high quality formula, she won't relent in seeing it as a sign of being a bad mother, her own mother which she places in that category. Two items further upend their lives. One, Simon is released from prison, he who may be able to put together the pieces to point Ruby's murder to them. And two, they eventually hear from Matt in Mexico, he who is at a retreat in vowing to have reformed his murderous ways. But Ava notices something in the video call which forces them to reconnect with him in Nathan going to Mexico to rectify the the situation of what she saw. In the process, they learn the true nature behind Ruby's death.
Episode 2
Thu, Nov 21, 202430 mins
Nathan returns from Mexico not only with Tory as he promised to Ava that he would do, but with, to Ava's horror, Matt, who announces that he and Tory are engaged, both Matt and Tory vowing that he is a changed man. Matt demonstrates that change as, approaching one hundred days of "sobriety", asks Nate to be his sobriety sponsor. Their relationship is tested more on Nate's side as they deal with Christa, Nate's sole student Jaden's mother, a proverbial stage mother and not a very nice person. Nate's determination to keep Jaden as a student despite Christa is not only to appease Ava, who pulled strings to get him this job, but because he can see potential greatness in Jaden if only Christa would figuratively get out of the way, which Matt may view in a literal sense. As the former contemplates no longer going to law school, Tory and Ava accuse the other of being like their mother. To prove that she's not, Ava has to show that she can make regular mom friends, which for Ava is easier said than done in having that recent non-mom-like history of murder to hide.
Episode 3
Thu, Nov 21, 202426 mins
Ava is feeling stressed on a few fronts. Their household cash flow is running uncomfortably low. While she wants Nate to sell his beloved tennis memorabilia, she knows she herself has to go back to work, and thus prepare to renew her real estate license. But arguably worse is she does not like that Tori and Matt are engaged, especially now that there have been more murders, Ava believing Matt to be the perpetrator in the media's assertion that it is the work of the Westside Ripper and despite Matt's vows to her and Nate that it isn't him. He, in fact, is outwardly irked that someone else is capitalizing on the Westside Ripper's notoriety. Ava's only real sanctuary is her new friendship with Drew. But in trying to discover evidence as to Matt's guilt or innocence, Ava learns something about her new friend which is both a curse and a blessing. Meanwhile, Nate plans on donating that memorabilia for a tennis focused charity auction. In Nate being told point blank that they will not accept his donation in the items being worthless in a public sense, Matt convinces him that he has to make them worth something in spending money on another item up for auction, money that he and Ava don't have.
Episode 4
Thu, Nov 21, 202427 mins
Ava and Nathan both know that they have been out of sync metaphysically, one of the results being that they have not had sex in a while despite each wanting it. What they don't know is the reason for them being out of sync is the secrets they are keeping from each other, Ava who has a murder board in the basement to figure out who has been doing all the killing if it isn't Matt, and Nathan who spent money they don't have in the possibility of regaining his tennis celebrity. Ava suggests they attend a sex party in believing it to be the tie between the victims, Nathan agreeing in not knowing the true reason but believing it is something that will restart their sex life. It may in fact be something that brings them together but not in the way either expected. Meanwhile, Matt has been attending AA meetings, the participants unaware of his true addiction. With another member, Georgia, calling him out, Matt truly does try to adhere to the principles of AA, he coming to a conclusion in the process.

Ava's online posts as Murder Bunny have received the attention of the copycat killer, especially as Ava figured out the nature of the next murder before it happened. The copycat killer's cryptic puzzle back to her preoccupies all of Ava's thoughts, even more than her anger at Nathan for spending money they don't have on what in his mind is the grudge match against Danny Merrick. As the person is a copycat, the one person who may have an inside track on the puzzle is Matt. Drew, in Ava's distraction, feels like she's losing her new friend, which may be in part the reason she is proactive in a matter related to things Ava has confided in her. Ava's distraction leaves Nathan to attend to his grudge somewhat with her further than the sidelines. Beyond Danny seeming not to remember who Nathan is, the match doesn't go quite the way Nathan had envisioned.

She, rather than taking Nathan home, feels the need to confront Drew in discovering that not only is her name probably not Drew Stephens, but that she is definitely not a homicide police detective and thus is not an official investigator in the copycat killings. Ava further discovers that locating Drew is not as easy as going to her home, which is not as Ava expects. Ava and Nathan follow the leads they discover not only to locate Drew but find out who she actually is. As Ava comes to certain conclusions based on circumstantial evidence, this process brings Ava and Nathan back together.
