3 months have passed and Màiri is still struggling to cope with the memory of the night she was attacked. A stranger arrives looking for Pàdruig and asking a myriad of questions, which causes more angst for Màiri and others in Camus. With the worst behind them, Donna and Finlay embrace their new lifestyle, working hard to repay the community. Their son Iain is prospering financially but is struggling in love. Roddy has moved to Camus and has taken over the hotel. He has the backing of his close friend Iseabail, who is herself looking to embark on a new venture. Donneil is busy with the Trust, and has hired Alasdair to project manage the building of the new community hall. Fundraising for the Trust continues with Ciorstaidh organising a talent show. And Cailean and Sarah Jane have big news to share that no one - least of all themselves - expected.
