The story of drama serial "Aey Zindagi" revolves around the lives of people influenced by adoption. Apart from this, the drama also focuses upon the parents who wish to have sons specifically but are unable to give similar love to their daughters. Dissimilar to the usual mindset, Mr. Hamid loves his three daughters Samrah, Nimra and Vashma. His wife Saba regrets having three daughters and she anxiously need a son. This makes her adopt her nephew Taimoor and completely disregard her daughters. Nimra protests to the unjust behavior of her mother but she pays no heed, until the day comes when Taimoor destroys not only her family's reputation but Nimra's life as well which makes Saba realize her mistake.
