Episode 1
Neville Perry, member of the Victoria Diggers is diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer, wants to leave a legacy for his family before his time is up. This means he wants to join forces with Poseidon crew Brendon Shanon to maintain the legacy when he is gone which is expected within 12 months. His hard fought lease is gonna be the basis for this al. After running a test to see it's viable shows extreme results, the deal is made.
Episode 2
Ethan has to run the Poseidon crew while Brent is struck by a severe neck injurie. Jacqui an Andrew explore a side river of the Palmer river, supposedly containing virgin ground. Brad McGhie of the Gold Retrievers is on his own now so he calls in the family to prospect his lease on viability.
Episode 3
Justin and Chloe search for gold rich locations which Justin spot from his helicopter during his cattle run. The Gold Devils end there Phoenix-project without leaving any gold behind. There's a new team on the verge when Kat lost her office job and joins Brett.
Episode 4
Brent's of the Poseidon crew recovery from his neck injury is in a crusial state. Today they decide weather he needs surgery or not. Justine and Chloe are confronted with one of there helicopter crashes. The pilot survived but the chopper is history, putting Chloe's pilot license on hold. In the meantime Alan and Salty chasing the legend of prospector Smithy in Western Australië. He supposed to find the motherload but is never to be seen after gathering supplies. Brent receives the good news that surgery is not necessary, which makes him to decide to buy a golf buggy and go bother Ethan and his father at the lease site, avoid getting crazy at home. To bad he is quite annoying and as owner he curs in Ethan's handling the dig.
Episode 5
Jacqui and Andrew help a cattle range by driving the cattle into the coral. In return the ranger uses the doser to create a road to fish river including a crossover to the other side. The McGhies call in the help from there son to run plan B. That means, since the dryblower is out, the gonna break thru through the caliche layer convinced there's a lot of gold below it. There son is gonna clean out the dryblower and proces the tailings. The Gold Devils still in transition of the rock crusher to the Fair Lady claim.
Episode 6
Episode 7
Alan and Salty find aboriginal ground where they wanna prospect. With specific regulations they get permission of the aboriginal guard. In the meantime the McGhies get there hands on a serious rock crusher to crush the ground so far, it can get thru the dustblower without problems. At first they ran into another problem which off course set the father off like it is the end off the world. How can you do this work when you blow up every time you have a setback? Off course it's a small fix and all went well after that. The gold devils finally got Lloyd back together again, without the help from Paul, he is mysteriously absent. The move presents a 30000 ausd which must be paid asap, so the mini goal is 30000 dollar. While Alex digs some trenches and set the ground ready for Lloyd, Mel goes on detecting till Lloyds start.
Episode 8
Jacqui and Andrew still exploring the fish river and just when they are on a patch, a forest fire forces them away from that side of the river. The original owners, now the forest fighters of the grounds, directing them to the side of the nearby mountain. They found some gold earlier at that climb so they start where they left off before. The ground is somewhat treacherous not to mention falling tree branches. The McGhie family speeds up there operation by bringing in a new 30 ton doser to help with the 10 ton version. They split up the group with the parents and little kid prospecting and the nitwit son's at the dryblower. One instruction: don't run into the blower!!! They even set up a perimeter to make visual. And what does the idioot son, he runs into it. Luckily without damage but still. The Gold devils, now aware of the back stabbing behaviors of Paul, are still far far away in reaching the 1000 ounce target. Basically the excuse the Paul use's for his behavior. Like the other once have different kind of problems. Does this means the end of the Gold Devils or not?
Episode 9
Kate temps Shane out of his retirement after she struck him a million dollar deal for his lease's. She has a mate who is geologist as wel and they want a shot at gold prospecting on a remaining lease of Shane called the messenger patch. She is in need of the operational skills of Shane to do so. after conferring with his father, he agrees and set's up the operation. Nevel in the meantime takes the Poseidon crew to some secret patches in north-west New South Wales, way out of there normal region of Victoria. Now there going detecting in the great Australian Desert with dust wind's and extreem heat. The patches are promising according to Nevel. Before the leave, he went to the hospital to have a check up about his terminal cancer but not waiting on the result before they leave. Alan and Salty continue prospecting the Karratha aria at the Western Australian coastline, going by water with Salty's river boat. The set out crab pots to catch mud crab's for dinner and set out to detect mud fields but found the fields are bush fields. After the tight forces them back they find the boats being missing. It seems to be vut loss from its moring and lies across the river. Salty decide to swim across thru the croc infested waters to get it. After that the found the crabpots empty so it turns out to be a miserable day, no gold, no food, almost no boat. Shane's patch, in the meanwhile starts to deliver enough gold to make it worth wile. Nevel receives his phonecall with his medical results and is urged back foor more testing. He leaves the Poseidon team to continue there detecting. The dust storm from the day before disappeared so now the can do some real work with the expected results. Alan and Salty detects some gold to in the next day, which made all three team's successful. In the end the Poseidon crew gets a video call of nevel with the latest results which crushes them totally. Nevel's liver is severely struck by the cancer, that the doctor's life estimation is limited to 8-10 month. This comes down so hard that it even made me cry.
Episode 10
Jacqui and Andrew searching through an ancient riverbed, but they striking more then gold. Trying to chisel through the hard rock bottom Jacqui cuts her hand severely. The Brumbies bringing the big guns to remove a stubborn tree trunk covering suspected gold before there water runs out. Shane's machinery refuse to come back to life. They can't start prospecting when the machines not running, a point emphasized by his companion's.
