Homicide detective Rod Demery and forensic scientist Turi King examine a skeleton unearthed in a remote sea cave in Scotland. Dated to the time of the Picts the team recreate the attack to deduce the victim's most likely killer. Suspects include a sea raider a pagan and a rival leader.
