Running for just the summer season of 1955, as a summer replacement for "The Jackie Gleason Show", this music program featured performances by some of the biggest names in jazz and big band music. Hosted by bandleader Paul Whiteman, the show featured such top musicians as Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Xavier Cugat, as well as Whiteman's own band.
