Richard William Caamano was one of the first men in the U.S.A. to undergo a "buckle fat excision", a form of cosmetic surgery, which was performed by Dr. Andrew Ordon, to make Rich's face look thinner. This operation took place in the summer of 1993, and an interview associated with it was televised during the winter of 1993-'94, as part of an episode entitled "The Kate Moss Waif Look".
