'Above Justice' invites viewers to reflect upon human issues and moral values, opening with the arrest of four people of different origins and backgrounds in 2009, in Recife, northeastern Brazil. The story than fast forwards seven years, as the characters are released from prison after doing their time, and get ready to go back to their lives. The unique narrative reveals new facets of the kaleidoscope of all four characters, by moving back and forth in time and presenting the different points of view that led them to take extreme and questionable actions.
