The first transatlantic flight of bombers to supply England takes off with high hopes. An in-flight problem calls for some Yankee ingenuity, and the planes face inclement weather, but is a resounding success. Soon, the British, Canadians and Americans begin working together to fly regular missions shuttling aircraft across the Pond to fuel the British war effort. Soon, the sinking of H.M.S. Hood and the search for the Bismarck send ripples across the Atlantic all the way to Newfoundland.
