Episode 1
Nathan Carter, once known as "Natty C", has left the rap business to become a teacher at his old school Elmsbury High where he was once a rebel student. However his arrival is made even more difficult because his younger brother Josh is going to the same school and is embarrassed at him turning his back on rap. In an effort to impress his sceptical head-teacher Mr. Byron, Nathan agrees to take charge of the "4 O'Clock Club" but is it really the group of highly motivated students eager for after-school activities that he thinks it is?
Episode 2
Josh tries to get Nathan off his back by tricking him into believing Miss Poppy is interested in him. Meanwhile Mr Byron is determined that the forthcoming assembly performance doesn't go badly wrong like so many others but Ryan's problems in remembering a simple line suggest things may not go well again.
Episode 3
Josh hasn't done his Maths homework but senses a sneaky solution when he fools his Maths teacher into believing he has dyscalculia. Meanwhile Nathan is very worried about a forthcoming lesson observation with Mr Byron and Josh's deception may make it even more difficult for him.
Episode 4
Nathan is unhappy when Mr Byron asks him to take charge of the school disco because he thinks it will spoil his rap image. He gets Mr Janucek to take over but he hasn't realised that Miss Poppy will be there. Josh asks Zoe Marie to go to the disco with him by mistake but how can he now wriggle out of the date? Meanwhile Ash seems to be asking almost every girl in the school to go there with him.
Episode 5
Nathan borrows one of the school laptops without telling the school but when Josh is later found with it he is accused of theft and Mr Byron orders a crackdown which annoys the students. This might prevent Ash from drawing the life model in an after-school art class he has been looking forward to.
Episode 6
Nathan and Josh both have plans while their mother is on holiday. Nathan arranges a meeting with Miss Poppy but a misleading story by Josh puts him in an awkward position. Josh organises a small party but finds that things getting out of hand.
Episode 7
Josh sees joining the school football team as a way of getting out of other lessons and Ash and Ryan join him. However football training may not be the easy option he thinks it is. Ryan is worried about getting a key assessment done and Molly offers to help but has he made the right decision?
Episode 8
Josh surprisingly scores top grades on his work so is recruited onto the school quiz team along with Molly and Ryan but is he really the top student he now appears to be? Ryan cannot understand why Molly is being so nice to him while strange things are turning up in Ash's locker.
Episode 9
Josh enjoys music lessons but is frustrated at the disintegrating equipment so suggests to Miss Poppy that the staff and students auction things to get money to buy replacements. She suggests that the staff auction their services and that Nathan act as a butler for the day. Nathan becomes particularly worried when Zoe-Marie shows an interest in buying his services - humiliation seems to be on the cards.
Episode 10
Mr Byron gets a reluctant Nathan to chair the school council and he recruits an even more reluctant Josh to take part. Against the wishes of council member Natalie, Josh gets a trip organised to see a DJ instead of going to the Town Hall but this is a problem for Nathan as he has invited Miss Poppy out on the same day. What is he to do?
Episode 11
Molly, Ryan and Ash try to make money by running a tuck shop against school rules but have to keep a sharp look-out for Mr Byron who is trying to promote healthy eating. Miss Poppy asks the students to write songs about relationships. She asks Nathan to help Zoe-Marie write her song as she is short on confidence but helping such an over-sensitive student isn't easy while Josh feels his brother is ignoring his own efforts.

Mr. Byron is about to review Nathan's progress as a teacher. Nathan is worried and gets the impression that he has no future at the school and should move on, perhaps working with his friend and successful rapper B-Mode. However does Nathan really understand how the students feel about him?
