Highway to Heaven

5 Seasons
Jonathan Smith is a probationary angel sent back to Earth to help people. During the series' first episode, he meets embittered ex-policeman Mark Gordon (as Jonathan is walking along a little-used road, on which Mark happens to be driving). Jonathan helps reform Mark, with the grateful Mark agreeing to become Jonathan's right-hand associate in carrying out the heavenly mission. The two begin traveling the country as itinerant workers, receiving assignments from "the Boss" (God), with their mission being to deliver love, understanding and humility to the people they encountered. Typical episodes stressed moral, Christian themes; though many episodes dealt with common human failings, such as egotism, bitterness and greed, some shows addressed such topics as racism and cancer. A few shows, however, were played mainly for laughs (such as Landon recreating his first famous starring role in a takeoff of his 1957 film I Was a Teenage Werewolf and his role in in little house on the prairie).

The segments, which ran several shows each, included in-depth and empathetic characterizations of the players on both sides of the law. Scenarios include the underbelly of the recording industry, protection rackets, international arms dealing, foiling white supremacist plotters, uncovering a government conspiracy to set up a compliant new head of state in a third-world country, and Vinnie's final reconciliation with his Italian mother and her new husband, the purely legendary Mafia figure Don Rudy Aiuppo (George Petrie).

Justice

He has an elaborate team, mainly comprised of specialists, from detectives and ex-public prosecutor Luther Graves to various paralegals such as a specialist in jury-selection and psychology. However Trott has a bright right-hand, charming Tom Nicholson, who is likely to become at least as good a pleader, provided he can control one weakness Ron seems immune for: human feelings such as sympathy, sincere disgust or compassion can cloud the cool competitive killer-instinct to win at any cost to earn a king's ransom.

Bring It!

6 Seasons
Bring It! is a new dance reality show which focuses on the dance team, The Dancing Dolls, from Mississippi. They are a competition dance team, and their style is, "Hip-Hop Majorettes." This show is produced by Lifetime, and is lively, and the girls are fun to watch. Coach D is a strong woman, with a no-nonsense personality, and drives the girls under her to be the best they can be. Still, she has a human side, and she does care about the girls, and tries to be supportive of them (something we don't see too often in another, well-known dance reality show). Further, the "drama" of the dance moms is surprisingly low-key when compared to another reality dance show, also produced by Lifetime. Give this show a chance. It will surprise you, as the dancing is different from what you are likely used to watching.
