Zooey Deschanel Reveals Her Daughter's Name

Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, are finally introducing their new daughter to the world by name.

The couple named their baby girl, now 3 months old, Elsie Otter, they told Peopleon Monday at the premiere of their movie Rock the Kasbah, which stars Deschanel and is produced by Pechenik.

"Like the animal," Deschanel, 35, added, in case you're still not sure.

Born in July in Austin, Texas, Elsie is the first child for the New Girlstar and Pechenik, who began dating in August 2014 and announced both her birth and their marriage in August. Deschanel was previously married to Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard from 2009 to 2012.
