Are the Human Beings dead?
Yahoo! is turning off its video hub Yahoo Screen, Variety reports. The news isn't surprising considering Yahoo!'s announcement that the endeavor suffered a loss of $42 million, but it begs an important question: What does this mean for Community?
The scrappy sitcom aired its sixth season on the digital network last year after being nixed by NBC due to low ratings. Yahoo! coming in to save the day gave the show's diehard fans hope that the #SixSeasonsandaMovie prophecy would have a chance of coming true. In August, after star Joel McHale said the show was canceled, Yahoo! said it was discussing"future opportunities with Community."
Community is canceled (again), according to Joel McHale

The show has already been through its showrunner being fired, getting canceled (twice) and airing on the Internet. Surely it can rally for a feature film - especially with Netflix and Video OnDemand options available.
Yahoo Screen launched in September 2013 and was also home to Saturday Night Live clips, live sports events and original series like Other Space. The former hub's video properties will now be housed in other sections of Yahoo!
