Cinemax Gives Pilot Order to William Petersen Project

CSI alum William Petersen's new drama project has found a home: Cinemax. The network has given a pilot order to Petersen and GK-TV Productions' Hurt People, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
CSI vet William Petersen returning to TV in drama Hurt People

Petersen will play Hollis Brown, a longtime hitman employed by the crime family that killed his wife. Brown is tasked with finding his estranged daughter who's determined to destroy the people responsible for her mother's death.
If ordered to series, Hurt People will mark Petersen's first regular series role since leaving the CBS procedural in 2009.

Petersen will executive-produce the project with CSI's Cynthia Chvatal, and GK-TV's Graham King, Tim Headington and Craig Cegielski. Peter Macmanus (Hollywoodland) will write the script.
