Earlier in 2025, movie fans kept eyes glued to their TV screens as the nation tuned into this year's BAFTA Awards. The iconic theatrical mask awards were handed out like hot cakes. Notably, Mikey Madison took home Best Leading Actress for her role in Anora, Adrien Brody for Best Actor in The Brutalist, and Conclave (which is looking a little too much like real life right now) won Best Film. But, Sunday, May 11 dawns a new list of categories from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and it's television's turn. It's time to learn where to watch the BAFTA Television Awards in the United States.

The event will be broadcast beginning at 7 p.m. BST (which is 2 p.m. EST for us Americans) and will be hosted by Alan Cumming at London's Royal Festival Hall. Because its been a wild year in television, expect the event to be just as exciting. Taking charge with the most nominations this year? Baby Reindeer. In addition, Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Rivals, Slow Horses, Life and Death in Gaza (Storyville), and Say Nothing have also received a noteworthy amount of nominations.

Celebrities from all walks of life will show face on the Royal Festival Hall red carpet, ready to receive, present, and watch the awards all from London's renowned auditorium. But, you're not in London, are you? Heck, you might not even be in the United Kingdom. Yet, you've got your watch party essentials and you've got at least eight guests coming over. But, how do you watch the BAFTA TV Awards from the United States?

Luckily, we have the answer.

How to Watch the BAFTA TV Awards on BritBox via Prime Video

You'll need BritBox to stream the BAFTA TV Awards in the U.S. The easiest way? Add it through Prime Video. It comes with a seven-day free trial, then it's $8.99/month after that. You'll need an Amazon Prime membership to get started — that's $14.99/month or $139/year — but you'll also get Prime Video, free shipping, and about a thousand other perks. Just in time to watch Alan Cumming do his thing.

How to Watch the BAFTA TV Awards with a VPN

You might also want to consider a VPN if you aren't interested in Prime Video or any of their add-ons. Outside of BritBox, the BAFTA TV Awards are airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, so if that's where you're interested to watch, you'll need to mask your location to tune in from the States and obtain a British live TV streaming service to get it on your TV screen. Services like ExpressVPNPrivate Internet Access, and NordVPN are solid choices for unlocking geo-blocked content, so start there before digging deeper and checking what streaming services have these channels across the pond.
