This season is probably the most anticipated in WNBA history, with superstar Caitlin Clark returning to a revamped Indiana Fever intent on making a serious postseason run. An injury has set her back a bit, and she will unfortunately miss the June 7 game against the Chicago Sky, but the growing rivalry between these two teams is about more than just Clark. Angel Reese, another young WNBA player who has rapidly entered the spotlight, will suit up for Chicago, hoping to improve upon the squad's early-season troubles. Wondering where to watch Indiana Fever vs Chicago Sky? Here's everything you need to know as the rivalry continues to build.

Gregory Shamus/Getty ImagesClark (who is not leaving the WNBA, despite persistent rumors) helped her Indiana Fever reach the playoffs last year for the first time since 2016. But the team's front office knew it needed to add more pieces to the puzzle, so they brought in veterans DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard, adding some experience to a roster that also includes another young hotshot, Aliyah Boston. The big question for Indiana this season is this: do they now have what it takes to capture a title? Or is that dream still a bit down the road for Clark and company?
Meanwhile, the Sky had a rough 2024 season, finishing 13-27. But with new Head Coach Tyler Marsh aboard, plus a couple new rookies and a handful of free agents and players acquired via trades, Chicago is looking to seize upon the 2025 season as an opportunity to prove that they can be just as competitive as any other squad. Heading into the game against Indiana, they're 2-4 on the year. But there's plenty of time left to right the ship. The only question is: can Chicago get it together before it's too late?
The Saturday, June 7 showdown between the Fever and the Sky starts at 5 p.m. PST and will air live on CBS. It will be available on-demand on WNBA League Pass once it concludes.
The Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark is expected to miss the June 7 game against the Chicago Sky due to an injury, but the latest reports indicate she could return to action as soon as June 10.
