Here's how to watch CODA, The Power of the Dog, Summer of Soul, and more
The Oscars have come and gone, and definitely with more drama than we've seen in years past, but the drama that should be dwelled on after the trophies are handed out is the drama in the movies that won. While Netflix was hoping to secure its first Best Picture win with The Power of the Dog, it was actually AppleTV+'s charming CODA that walked away with the biggest award of the night, along with Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kotsur and Best Adapted Screenplay for Siân Heder. The Power of the Dog also lost out on its four acting nominations, but landed a coveted Best Director Oscar for Jane Campion, the first woman to be nominated twice in the category.
Elsewhere, Dune also had a big night at the Oscars, picking up six trophies over the course of the evening. Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson also became an Academy Award winner for his beloved documentary Summer of Soul (Or When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised).
What is great about all of these movies — and the majority of winners and nominees across categories — is that you can now stream them on at least one of the major streaming services. There are a handful (No Time to Die and Licorice Pizza, for example) that will require you to get out your wallet before you can watch, but we have all of your streaming options for the 94th Annual Academy Award winners and nominees below.
